November is here, which means we’re about to officially kick-off another holiday season (I swear, it’s earlier every year). Tree trimming may still be a few weeks away, but the airwaves are preparing for their annual two-month interruption of regular radio programming with jingling bells, decked halls, and dissonant chipmunks.
Early November also heightens the countdown to year’s end, the reality that those resolutions will have to sit-tight another year. For the insured, or those shopping around, it means it’s Open Enrollment time (which runs thru December 15th) – the six-week frenzy to choose their 2018 plan.
If you have the luxury of choice, finding the right provider can be arduous. It doesn’t help that your station in life has a say in what plans/coverage options are available to you. The providers, after a while, tend to all look the same. For a lot of professionals, the provider is chosen for you, and yours is merely a decision of one plan type vs. another.
